DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU

Welcome to the vibrant capital of Nepal. Upon your arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representatives and transferred to hotel.

DAY 2: FULL DAY KATHMANDU CITY TOUR

After breakfast, your tour of Kathmandu valley starts.You will visit the holy shrine of Hindus- Pashupatinath where Lord Shiva resides. Shiva’s manifestation as Pashupati lord of animal, is considered one of the holiest sites of the Hindus and is a must visit once in a lifetime to gain salvation. Apart from being a holy shrine, it is beautifully crafted in Pagoda style with golden roof and silver doors. Afterwards proceed to Boudhanath another Buddhist stupa and a World heritage site. It is also famous for its power to fulfill wishes and blessings. The base of the stupa is a square shaped terraced plinth representing joy, love, compassion and calmness. The white dome shaped structure on top is painted with yellow to represent lotus. Above which a square tower representing fire is painted with eyes of Buddha. On top of it is the gold conical shaped structure representing air followed by an umbrella on topmost part symbolizing space. The more you see the stupa the more peace you’ll feel! Then you will be driven to Bhaktapur another royal city of Nepal. Listed in UNESCO, Bhaktapur Durbar Square has lots to offer. Bhaktapur, literally meaning “city of devotees”, was one of the three ancient kingdoms in Kathmandu valley. Bhaktapur with its beautiful stone and wood crafts is an architectural delight. Bhaktapur Durbar Square has three squares each consisting of palaces and temples that are unique and elaborate than the other.

DAY 3: DRIVE TO POKHARA

Enjoy your breakfast, you will be driven to the colorful city, Pokhara. Your six hour journey will not be boring as all the way you’ll have company of Nepal’s fast flowing rivers, seasonal waterfalls, hills and thrill of snake like highway.

DAY 4: DRIVE TO NAYAPOOL AND TREK TO GHANDRUK

Altitude: 1950m

Driving distance 1hour 30minutes

After breakfast, you will be driven to Nayapool. On this short drive of one and half hour you will enjoy a spectacular view of mountains, valleys, green fields and villages. From Nayapool, there is a short level walk to Birethanti, a pleasant village at bank of Modi River. The trail leaves the Modi River and climbs the stone stairs all the way up to Ghandruk. There are several small beautiful settlements on the way with beautiful scenery of Modi Khola valley.

Ghandruk is a beautiful Gurung village of Nepal; it is also the hometown of most of the brave Gorkha Soldiers. Ghandruk reflects the culture, tradition and lifestyle of Gurung communities. Apart from its picturesque Gurung village, Ghandruk is known for a breathtaking close up views of Annapurna, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre. The glistening mountains at night and when the sunrises is a visual treat to nature lovers.

DAY 5: TREK GHANDRUK TO JHINU DANDA

Altitude: 1610m

Walking distance: approx. 3hours walk

In the morning after having breakfast, we will descend down through dense forest of rhododendron viewing scenic Landruk and Ghandruk village, on the way we will pass through Konda Village “Konda means Stone”. We will continue to steep climbs and then cross over the stream. Then a short stiff climbs bring us to Jhinu Danda which takes about 3-4hours. There is a hot spring with cement bathing pools about 25 minutes downhill. We will stay overnight at Lodge.

DAY 6: TREK TO DHAMPUS

Altitude: 1650m

Walking distance: approx. 5hours walk

For the first part of the trek is a descent. Here you find beautiful waterfalls. Beyond this town, the trail ascends gently crossing numerous streams and terraces. After short trek, you will be at Landruk (1640m). Now the trail gently ascends to Tolka (1850m.) and then ascends to Bherikharka. From here, the trail goes steeply up to Deurali (2100m.) with a view of different mountain peaks in panorama. Now, the trail gradually descends to Pothana passing through different oak forests.

We continue our trek to Dhampus. The trail gently descends to Dhampus, a village mainly inhabited by Gurungs.

DAY 7: TREK TO PHEDI AND DRIVE TO POKHARA

Walking distance: approx. 2hours walk

After breakfast, you will trek through flat land for some distance and steeply descend to Dhampus Phedi. Upon arrival in Dhampus Phedi we will continue our drive to Pokhara. Rest of the day is free for you to relax.

DAY 8: FULL DAY POKHARA CITY TOUR

You will wake up before sun and head towards Sarangkot Hill to enjoy breathtaking sunrise. You can either trek or drive to reach the hill. You will be awestruck as the sun rises and rays falls on the white glistening mountain. You won’t be able to stop yourself from saying Wow!! If you love to devour yourself in views you can just stay there sipping coffee and watch the magnificent view. Or, if you are an adventure seeker then, you can try paragliding or zip line from here. After scrumptious lunch(on own) you’ll continue your tour Pokhara city tour. Your guide will take you to remarkable places of Pokhara. You will visit the Davis Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev, Bindyabashini temple and Seti Gorge. Evening is free for you. Have a hearty meal in a restaurant enjoying the serenity of the lake.

DAY 9:TRANSFER TO KATHMANDU

After enjoying the spectacular view of mountains and lakes you’ll be driven back to Kathmandu. Rest of the day is free for you.

Today you’ll say bye to mystic Nepal as your plane takes off and depart to your home.
