DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU

Welcome to the vibrant capital of Nepal. Upon your arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representatives and transferred to hotel.

DAY 2: FULL DAY KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, you’ll be exploring the traditional and artistic Kathmandu valley. Your first stop will be Kathmandu Durbar Square. Also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, it is a public square containing ancient palaces, temples, statues and streets. There is an ancient wooden pavilion Kasthmandap made by wood gathered from a divine tree, Kalpa Vriksha, build centuries ago. It is this pavilion from which the city got its name Kathmandu. Taleju temple is the oldest and the tallest building in the area, door of which is opened only once in a year during the main festival of Nepal; Dashain. Historically important Kathmandu Durbar Square offers you the traditional art and crafts of the Newars, in the form of elaborate wood work, sculptors and architecture. Your next stop will be the Monkey temple; Swayambhunath. Standing tall on a hill, the majestic Buddhist shrine Swayambhunath is a white dome with a gold conical shape on top, which is painted with the watchful eyes of Buddha. A mythological story about origin of Swayambhunath states that a lotus that radiated dazzling light sprung at the very spot where the dome is today. The lotus is said to have been planted by Buddha. The exhausting climb of 365 steps to reach Swayambhunath is worthwhile once you reach the peaceful stupa and view Kathmandu valley from there.

Patan, one of the ancient royal city of Nepal. Patan Durbar Square is a public square which contains palaces of former Newar Kings of Patan. A good example of Newari architectural marvel, Patan has abundant temple, esthetic structures and palaces to captivate you. The area houses temples and bahals holding religious significance to the followers of both Hinduism and Buddhism. You will also get to observe uniquely crafted water tank with intricate stone taps.

DAY 3: FLY POKHARA | DRIVE NAYAPUL – TREK TO TIKHEDHUNGA

Early morning fly to Pokhara. You will land to this city of lake which is also the start point of your trek. Meet our guide there, then you will be driven to the start point of the trek Nayapul. Today’s trek will be just a warm up for you!!! Take pleasure of the peaceful environment to Tikhedhunga..

From Nayapul, we will walk along the Modi Khola (Modi River) and follow the way through Birethanti (1015m), and Hille (1495m) to eventually reach Tikhedhunga (1577m). Rest and relax and get yourself ready for the following day’s trek

DAY 4: TIKHEDHUNGA TO GHOREPANI TREK

Get energized by the breakfast and get ready with your comfortable attire and shoes for the day long trek today. Once you reach the end of Tikhedhunga village, you will start the climb on the 2767 step stone staircase to Ulleri. Your trek will continue through the forests of Rhododendrons-the national flower of Nepal and Oaks, at some places you will feel the cool breeze from the natural waterfalls. After 5-6 hours of trek, you will reach today’s destination Ghorepani. Rest and relax and get yourself ready for the following day’s trek.

DAY 5: POONHILL TO TADAPANI TREK

Today is the day you have been waiting for. Wake up before the sun and hike for an hour to reach Poonhill. As the sun rises you will be witnessing the breathtaking view of Mountain Range. And what’s more, you will even be able to see the domestic flights flying below you above the clouds!!! Now, we will be ascending towards the east for an hour and enjoy the lunch at the hill of Banthati. From here we descend for another hour before climbing a steep hill at the top of which lies Tadapani. Tadapani comprises of a few nicely built houses turned into lodges. A more central and close-up view of Machapuchre can be enjoyed from here. Trek duration: 5-6 hours

DAY 6: TREK FROM TADAPANI TO GHANDRUK

Enjoy your breakfast and continue your journey to Ghandruk. You will pass through lush green forest. The mountains will play high and seek with you by keeping company on your journey to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is the wonderful viewpoint to relish the Machhapucchre Himal (Mt. Fishtail). It is a farming village of Gurung community of Nepal. You will have free time in the afternoon, which you can invest in visiting the Gurung Village.

DAY 7: TREK TO LANDRUK

Treat yourself with breakfast. We will be drop down to the Modi Khola River bank and cross the bridge then the trail goes through hill terraced field climb up to Landruk village. At Landruk we will stop for the lunch and Overnight at this beautiful village above Modi Khola. The trek duration is from Four to Five hours..

DAY 8: LANDRUK TO POKHARA

Today we will be continuing our trek to Pokhara via Deurali and further up to beautiful Dampus village trail follows through the dense mossy jungle along the ridge of hills, we continue to Phedi to catch the transportation to drive back to Pokhara on the same day.

Trek Duration: 6 hours

DAY 9:FLY BACK KATHMANDU

You will fly back to Kathmandu today. Rest of the time is free to explore the streets of Kathmandu on your own.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE

Today you’ll say bye to mystic Nepal as your plane takes off and depart to your home.
